Funny Times

Monday 15th Jan
Today was really good. We did some track ting today and we were talking to this guy for ages about everything and families also marriage. Throughout the talk he is bagging the Jehovah witness’s and then he goes on to say and asked if we knew about Mormons because they aren’t Christians. I started laughing and I was like “yeah I know Mormons”. After that I just could stop laughing cos it was a funny situation. We left after he said that because I was laughing so much. (To elder Scott’s knowledge he thought my name was elder rado lol I didn’t correct him cos he was cross eyed”. Then we carried on and met up with Sarah and Narrelle for their quite smoking and they are doing great. We went around to President Young’s place tonight he has some really cool stories about elder Scotts visit about a girl giving him a picture, setting him apart as a Stake President. Words were used like “in the name of Jesus Christ I call you to”, “In my calling as an apostle I ordain you”. It was an awesome experience I loved it he had some really good stories about his visit. Now we are at home and we had a really good day. The mission is going great.

Tuesday 16th Jan
Narelle and Sarah are doing well at the quit smoking program and we visited them today and had a really good lesson from 3rd Nephi 11. I love reading that passage it has a lot of power behind it. We trackted as well this is the most days in a row where I have trackted. Elder Scott and I have a really good time. We knocked on this old lady’s door and what Elder Scott does is look at her then look at me and then her and then back to me. Anyways we he looked back at me I poked a cheeky face and he started laughing a bit and couldn’t help himself I carried over because he was laughing too much. We had dinner at the Battyes and then went to go teach Doug which was a really good lesson. I felt sorry for him he lost his wife and is really lonely. I hope we brought him peace. That’s about it for this day.
Wednesday P-Day
All over the shop. Went to see Yvonne and she weren’t there. We met her boarder and that was really cool she is from china. Then Elder Scott and I got some photos developed and had a cool time and Robina town center looking for shops that didn’t exist there but that’s ok. Went back to see Yvonne’s and President gave her the all clear and that was a heart attack but all worked out fine. Then we went to the mamaru’s and had fun with Brother Parsons. But it didn’t even feel like a P-day. Oh and I won the last test match 2-nil down , won 3-2 but it was all fun anyways. I love my mission
18th Jan Thursday
We had district meetings today it we on her along time it needed to be a lot shorter but we played a good game which was “what If”. We trackted and then went on trade offs with bishop and James and Craig. It was a lot of fun I noticed the language difference just in the things the would talk about wouldn’t be appropriate. We had fun playing games at the Milligan’s then went to the Payton’s. It was a good night.
19th Jan Friday
Today we did trade offs with Nerang and loved it. Elder dial and I were together and had a good day. We saw Narelle but she wasn’t home then we went to the cooper’s girls and ya just have fun with them and they love it. We sorted out there baptismal program. Elder dial was stoked cos he is baptizing one of them. Then we went to go sort out Yvonne’s Baptismal Program and everything is going great. We also had lunch at Esther’s and then went to an appointment that fell thru so we went up to Albert’s and he wasn’t home and did our comp study and it was awesome. Taught Sam and got some Deep Doctrine from Sister Mangakahia. The trackted back after we had dinner at Tom & Sarah’s it was really nice they did a really good job. We just need to teach them the gospel. Now that would be awesome!
