Summary of Elder Nelson
My memories of elder nelson: Bro where do I start. Ill start with mission tour I saw him and his words were “maybe you will be my next companion” initially I thought freak I hope not (because of the dreaded ysa ward but I knew then he spoke truth. He got me into reading Jesus the Christ. I thought is was a deep doctrine book I wouldn’t understand but I love it because of him. Our weekly planning’s were always at what manor of Men hahahahaha it was tradition, did we even have any? Hahahah good times. Our other choice of food was jackpot and nandoes. Elder nelson was never shy to put my in my place. I remember a few time in the flat I wanted to give a few elders a raking up but elder nelson told me pretty straight forward not to. Also told me i was wrong at a certain point after investigators class once. But seriously I never felt mad at him at all how could I when he was the man. I guess you could say meekness was his quality. He was the chief and when ever we were unsure he was there to lead us in righteousness. For some reason the Koreans loved him more and I always thought Annie has the hot for him. But he would deny it hard hahahaha. I remember president saying that he could have been an AP and I defiantly agree. But elder nelson was a like a person on face value you didn’t think much but once you knew him like really knew him He was an unshakable missionary who was true to himself and the lord. His mean tie got stolen from elder cupples. And the fruit diet was the best. It was a time never to be forgotten in my service for the lord and I want ya to know I’m grateful that you served because you taught me lessons only you could teach me. I think we still hold the record of 9 baptisms in bris BAM for the month and that comes down to the lord being with us. Love ya bro and you will always be the chief.
